I have always been drawn to the idea and iconography of angels - from sweet cherubs, to the celestial Christian Archangels, to the artwork for In Utero by Nirvana…

There is a strange comfort in the notion that a soul could live on in the form of a supernatural winged being, or perhaps to believe that there are already angels among us. Either way when someone we know or love leaves this earthly plane, the rest of us are stuck wondering what it’s all about.

Elbows is a nostalgia trip back to a time where nothing mattered but music, mates, and magic.
Making a tragedy beautiful, and then letting it fly away peacefully into the light.
